Our Child Care Services
Linden Street Child Care Center was started to provide onsite child care for our residents. Our first license in 1993 was for 11 children. Today, LSCC is open to the general public. The purpose of Linden Street Child Care Center is to meet the needs of children and their families to ensure uniform application of standards of care for the development of children.
Linden Street Child Care Center is licensed by the Department of Human Services to care for infants six weeks through school age children up to twelve years.
Infants' needs are met on an individual basis with a curriculum developed to enhance large and small motor skills. Pre-school children are instructed in computer literacy utilizing age appropriate programs including Language Arts, Math and Manipulatives. Developmentally challenged children receive a screening through the Arkansas Therapy Group and are provided services for their disability. Special activities developed for the School Age Program include: Field Trips, Swimming, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Games, and Computer Skills.
